I am a Royal College of Art trained artist. I studied a Masters in knitwear design and went on to work for many well known designers including Nicole Farhi. Textures found within nature have always influenced my work and are now the inspiration behind my paintings. Seascapes and flowers are my favourite subjects. There is nothing more I like than being jostled around in crashing waves then trying to capture that feeling in a sketch or a painting. The floral oils are inspired by the gorgeous mix of cosmos, dahlias and hydrangeas that we grow on our allotment here in rural Cambridgeshire. I’m very happy to complete commissions and have painted portraits (humans and pets!), clients’ homes and holiday memories from photographs.
